Nuked Config File

Every month or so I've found that the psybnc.conf gets nuked by some kind of psybnc proccess abort. It seems as though psybnc nukes the config file then aborts execution and crashes. Whats even more fustrating, is that any of the 'backup' config files don't work anymore - passwords are all invalid - even though the salt file has never been changed.

ffs sake, I'm sick of rebuilding the config file from scratch everytime psybnc shits itself.

(yes I've even tried menuconfig to manually 'set' the password on an old config, but this fails. I've also pico edited the config file to remove the password encypted version (== to =) bt this also failes miserably.)

wtf is it with this crap.

maybe somebody else got access to ur shell? (i never heard of it before)
btw remove the salt file to a safer place and u can also make a copy of psybnc.conf there and then restore them. but for some reason i dont think its a problem with psybnc but something on ur shell.
